Cookie Policy
Effective January 1, 2026
Bankable One uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and pixels) to operate bankable.one, remember your preferences, and measure how our content performs. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent via our cookie banner.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit, such as your language preference or authentication state. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs) perform equivalent functions and are treated the same way under this Policy.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session integrity, load balancing, CSRF protection, cookie-consent state. | Not required | Session – 12 months |
| Preferences | Remember UI state, region, and non-essential settings you choose. | Opt-in outside U.S.; opt-out in U.S. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Aggregate, IP-anonymized measurement of pages, referrers, and scroll depth. We do not build advertising profiles. | Opt-in | Up to 24 months |
| Marketing / advertising | We do not use cross-context behavioral advertising cookies at this time. | N/A | N/A |
3. Managing your consent
- You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request for U.S. state privacy purposes.
- We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because no consensus standard has been finalized.
4. Third-party services
Certain first-party functions may be delivered by service providers acting on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, error monitoring, and authentication). These providers are contractually restricted from using information collected on our behalf for their own purposes.
